Celebrating Alonna
Alonna Sa’Roi Allison was born August 23, 1998 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015.
She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was an active member of Harvest Word of Life where she was involved in Children’s Church.
Alonna was a happy, free spirited person who loved to play basketball with dreams to move forward upon graduating to play ball in college. While she was attending Bishop Luers, she played on the Jr. Varsity basketball team and was also a cheerleader. Upon her recent admission to Concordia Lutheran High School as a Junior, she gained a spot on their Varsity Team. Her love for basketball led her to play with AAU Teams, Lady Legit and Always 100.
She loved to have fun and had a special love for children that led her to tutor at the Euell A. Wilson Center where the children fell in love with her.
Surviving are her mother, Angela Presley; father, Leroy (Afrika) Allison; brother, Jordan Presley; sisters, Hailee Allison and Kayla Allison; step-brothers, Mike, MonTe and Marqis Stevenson; step-sister, Aniya Anderson; grandparents, Rhonda Presley and Roland and Olive Carpenter; great-grandmothers, Essie Bell, Betty Phillips and Hattie Allison, aunts, Londa Presley, Annette (Dave) Lewis and Regina (Charles) McClain; uncles, Corey Presley and Lamont Carpenter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Alonna was preceded in death by her grandfather, Michael E. Presley
