Allen DeWayne Bolton Jr. was born on August 28, 1978 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Sonda Calligan and Allen D. Bolton Sr.  Allen received his wings on April 12, 2017 at the age of 38.

In 2011, Allen accepted Christ and was baptized.  He attended Changing Lives Outreach Ministries.

Allen was a graduate of South Side High School Class of 1998 and was currently employed by Advance Assembly.

He was a United States Marine veteran serving his country four years and received his honorable discharge in 2003. After returning home, he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Technology and was currently pursuing his Masters degree. 

Allen touched many lives here on this Earth with his outgoing spirit and love for his family and friends.  Allen had a contagious laugh and a wide smile that could light up any room.  Allen loved his children and spent as much time with them as he could.

Allen leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Sonda Calligan and Allen D. Bolton Sr.; one son, Allen D. Bolton III; two daughters, Kiyah and Nevaeh Bolton; sisters and brothers, LaTasha Bolton, Jaque Reynolds, James Bolton, Kyle Bolton, Kyle Smith, Keosha Coleman, Kierra Coleman, Devon Campbell, Patricia Logan, Christian Logan and Spencer Logan; grandfather, Henry Bolton; grandmother, Rose Calligan; former wife, Lakisha Lawson Bolton along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Allen was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joann Bolton, grandfather, Cephas Calligan and one aunt, Brenda Bolton.

Allen will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery with Military Honors
