Alma Jacqueline White was born on the 4th of May, 1941 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the union of James Verly White and Frances Alice (Walters) White.
"Jackie" as she was known, retired from Fort Wayne State Developmental Center after 36 years of service. She was a dedicated and participating member of Jerusalem Baptist Church until her health failed her in 1997.
She loved playing "BINGO", and as her boys were growing up her most remembered phrase was "Don't bring nothin' home that you can't eat."
On Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the age of 76 she passed from this life at Parkview Hospital.
As time goes on her precious memories will continue through her surviving children, James White, Gary White, Jeffrey (Delores) White and Kenneth White; a brother, Vinson (Cherri) Winn; sisters, Sandra White, Sharon White, Ronna Dale White and Ona Isreal "DeeDee" Hollins; her special friends, Joyce Swain, Roberta Jones, Mary Frances White-Nelson; 14 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
