Elmo Rogers Jr., age 78, departed this on Saturday, November18, 2017.  As a  native of Holly Springs, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Elmo Rogers Sr. and Lydia Mae Rogers.

He retired from General Electric Co. after 30 years of service and was a United States Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

Elmo is survived by his sisters, Luevennia Rogers, Doyce Russell and Pauline Bell; nephew and caregiver, Kevin Rogers and a host of other nephews, nieces and friends.

He was also preceded in death by brothers, Victor Lee Scruggs, Sylvester, Premuise, James and Major Rogers and sisters, Vallen , Annie, Laverne and Geraldine Rogers.
