Frederick Allan Morris

Frederick A. “Fred” Morris was born on September 2, 1967 to Ola Mae Morris and Ben E. Faulkner in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  At the age 50, he departed this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at home.

Frederick accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Faith Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor James Fincher.

“Dough Boy” as he was affectionately called by his family and friends. Loved cooking, traveling, and having a good time.  Frederick was most known for taking care of the family.  Whenever someone needed him, his was there.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Ola Mae Morris; his daughter, Janeatra L Moore and four grandchildren; six brothers, Van (Stacey) Morris, Vincent (Sabrina) Morris, Jovon (Wanda) Morris, Ben (Chaneil) Johnson, Cornell Johnson and Dwight Thomas; three sisters, Rhonda L. Morris, Clarise Phillips and Audrey Thomas Strong; special niece and nephew, Mea and Matthew Morris; special aunt and uncle, Beatrice and Willie; a god-sister, Deborah Kizer and a host of other uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Fred was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. Deatrice and Christine Ward; paternal grandparents, Herman and Audrey Faulkner; his father, a sister-in-law, Clara Johnson and one brother, Matthew Gene Morris Sr.
