James Fox was born on August 26, 1939 in Tunica, Mississippi.  At the age of 78, he passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017.

At the age of four, he moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He was baptized at an early age at Wings of Deliverance Tabernacle Holiness Church.  He remained an active member of the church serving as Deacon for many years. 

James was a graduate of Central High School where he excelled in track and field. He will always be remembered as an all-time track star.

He enjoyed fellowshipping and volunteering throughout the city. James spent much time volunteering at the Ave Maria House .

Preceding him in death were his father, Harrison Fox; mother, Sylvia Isabell and a grandson, Tornor Davis.

Surviving are his daughter, Shelia Davis; granddaughter, LaQuanda Davis; four great grandchildren, Tonor Davis Jr., Michael May, My Quann Davis and KeAnna Davis; one great-great grandchild; a special cousin, Irene Powell and a host of other cousins and friends.

James will be entombed in Covington Memorial Gardens
