Javon Tyrell Burnett Sr.

Javon Tyrell Burnett Sr. passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 26.  Javon was born in Fort Wayne to Daryl Burnett Sr. and Cynthia Gardner on September 16, 1991.  He attended Northrop High School, where he played basketball and football.  Javon had a beautiful smile that could light up a room.  He brought a lot of energy wherever he went, and never ceased to encourage everyone around him.  Javon will be deeply missed. 

Javon is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cynthia and James Gardner Sr., of Fort Wayne; his father and stepmother, Daryl and Angie Burnett Sr., of Sarasota, Florida; six children, A’lana Burnett, A’laya Burnett, Domonic Nino, Malaysia Burnett, Royal Burnett and Javon Burnett Jr, all of Fort Wayne; four brothers, Daryl Burnett Jr  and Jamar (Nakia) Burnett both of Fort Wayne, Dontae Burnett of San Diego, California and James Gardner Jr  also of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Jamisha (Dennis) Bryant and Jaquella (Bryan) Nellems both of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandmothers, Juanita Jefferson and Bessie Bruner both of Fort Wayne; great grandmothers, Virginia (Leander) Tarver of Fort Wayne and Rosie Cooper of Chino Hills, California and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ja’Nylah Burnett; grandfather, James L. Hall Jr; and great grandfather, James L. Hall Sr.
