Joseph Franklin Looper was born April 26, 1976 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Joe and Delores Looper. He departed this life on Friday, February 9, 2018.
Joe, as he was best known as, grew up in Fort Wayne and moved to Omaha, Nebraska with his family in 1981,where he attended Burt High School. The family relocated back to Fort Wayne in 1994, where he then attended R. Nelson Snider High School.
Joe was employed by Bhar and explored many other options throughout his life. He was an outstanding and vibrant young man that kept a smile on his face along with everyone he was around. He could always find the good in any bad situation. He was driven by such deep thoughts, a visionary strategist, of finding new directions and approaches for life itself.
On January 7, 1997, he married Clara Blash in Fort Wayne. They were blessed with three children and three grandchildren.
Joe is survived by is former wife, Clara Blash; son, Joseph Looper Jr.; daughters, Saimone Blash and Alexus Looper all of Indianapolis, Indiana; three grandchildren, Gabriella Harter, Toibas Looper and Travis Harter Jr. all of Indianapolis; his mother, Delores Looper; two sisters, Helen Coleman and Patrice Looper all of Fort Wayne; brothers, Travis Dailey of Nashville, Tennessee; four nephews, Travis Dailey Jr., Darius Coleman, Jermaine Reese and Jaylin Reese; seven nieces, Chrishanti Dailey of Palaski, Tennessee, Isaaca Sanders, Iesha Looper, Terryonna Coleman, Savannah Coleman, Jasmine Reese and Jayla Reese all of Fort Wayne along with a host of other family and special friends.
