Mahalia Rozier age 75 passed away July 19, 2016 at Summit City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born January 22, 1941 in Tutwilller, Mississippi.

She was graduate of West District High School in Mississippi and was previously employed as a nurses aide at the Fort Wayne State Hospital.

Surviving are her son, Dale D. Rozier; two brothers, Wiilie Nathan Harris and Clifton (Brenda) Harris; five sisters,Janie Harris, Betty Bostic, Joyce (Elijah) Davis, Beverly (Roosevelt) Cobb and Dwillette Hoskins; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mozella Hoskins; father, Willie Harris;  husband, Rudolph Rozier, daughter, Gwendolyn Rozier and a brother, Tyrone Harris.

Mahalia will be laid to rest in Covington Memorial Gardens
