Reginald Jerome Broadnax was born November 28, 1959 in Birmingham, Alabama.  He was the son of Annie Mae and Willie James Broadnax.

While raised a Christian home and in the church, he accepted Christ at an early age and baptized.

After moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana he received his high school education.

On August 19, 1983, he married Avon Nelson.  They later relocated to Florida where Reggie was an all around “Jack of All Trades” there was nothing he couldn’t fix.  He enjoyed detailing cars, watching TV, wrestling, basketball and most of dancing. Reggie was a people person and filled with joy.  He lived life to fullest and encouraged others to enjoy life.

On June 1, 2017, he wept and cried out “Leave me be, I want to go home to be with Jesus.”  and on June 9, 2017 at 12:45 am in Orlando, Florida, God answered his request.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister.

Reggie leaves behind his devoted wife, Avon; children, Rokisha, Roshonda, Reginald Jr., Meeshack, Marcus, Terry and Rodrick; father, Willie James; sisters, Eddie Dean and Jessie Dean “Gail” (Jerry); brothers, James (Yvonne), Roosevelt, Raymond, Jerry, Eddie, Arthur and JC; 25 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends.
