SHERwin Nathaniel Springer was born on November 12, 1967 to Mamie (Grayson) Springer and David Springer in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He departed this life on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the age of 49.

Sherwin attended and graduated from Northrop High School in 1986. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in 1991 from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He was currently employed at Elwood Staffing as a Business Development Manager.

Sherwin was an avid sports fan, whether he was supporting the Wayne Generals (where his brother Derrick is the Head Football Coach), his Alma Mater (Northrop High School) or traveling to watch the Northwestern Wildcats football team (home of his brother Dennis) you knew he was there to support you. He really had a passion for his beloved Indiana Hoosiers. On any given night you could find him in Bloomington or in front of his television cheering on the Hoosiers.

For Sherwin his family came first.  He was a loving and devoted son, brother and uncle to his nine nieces and nephews and a very giving person to all of his family and friends alike. If you needed him he was there for you.

It was often said that his smile and personality would light up the room. Go to any family gathering and Sherwin would be the one providing the fun and the laughter, always the life of the event.

Sherwin was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Springer.

He leaves to cherish his memory, parents David A. Springer and Mamie L. (Grayson) Springer of Fort Wayne; sister, Gloria (Lloyd) Brown of Fort Wayne; brothers, Dennis (Nicole) Springer of Skokie, Illinois and Derrick Moore of Fort Wayne; Terry Grayson (nephew), Shedra Rakestraw (niece), Rodney Rakestraw (nephew), Cordell Springer (nephew), Marcus Springer (nephew), Sophia Springer (niece), Sydney Springer (niece), Dia Moore (niece) and Zendaya Moore (niece) along with a host of other relatives and friends.
