William V. Martin III, J.D. was born on January 3, 1956 in Norton, Virginia.  He was a son of  William V. and Maureen Martin Jr.   On Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the age of  62, he departed this earthly life.

William was a 1973 graduate of South Side High School.  He graduated from Valley College School of Respiratory Therapy and completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Pittsburgh.  In 1997, he received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law.

He was a respiratory therapist and was a retired substitute teacher with Fort Wayne Community Schools.  He had a special love for the judicial system and seeking justice.

William was preceded in death by his parents and his son, William LaMar Bryant.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Charmaine Bryant; sister, Pamela Martin; brother, Barry (Lashonda) Martin, all of Fort Wayne, six grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
