Brunette Fay (Jones) Custard

Brunette F. Custard passed away on April 13, 2018 at the age of 81, after an extended stay at Canterbury Rehabilitation & Nursing.

She was born July 30, 1936 in Uniontown, Alabama.  At a young she accepted Christ as her Savior and baptized at First Baptist Church in Uniontown.

She graduated from Hale County Training School.  After relocating to Fort Wayne in the early 1970’s she began employment at Irene Byron Center where she worked until she retired.

Left to cherish in her memory are her children, Lawrence (Vanessa) Custard and Rhonda Custard; sister, Annette Brooks-Russell, four grandchildren along with other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Jones Jr. and Idella (Armstrong) Jones and her husband, Henry Custard.

Brunette will be laid to rest in Highland Park Cemetery
