Donta Lamont Grundy

Donta Lamont Grundy was born on August 9, 1990 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Patricia A. Jones and Steven L.  Grundy.  On Sunday, June 24, 2018 he was called home.

Donta confessed to Christ at an early age. He became a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Samuel Walker.

He was a member of Metro Football, Little League Baseball, Three Rivers Jenbe Ensemble which started his love and passion for music.  Donta also played multiple high school sports.  He worked at Android Manufacturing and part-time construction work.  He was a young man of many trades.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Patricia Ann Jones; father, Steven Lamont (Angela) Grundy; step-father, Carlos M. Addison, Sr.; brothers, Carmanni and Carlos Addison, Jr., Jontavis Hood, Jalen Grundy and Jalea Duncan; two sisters, Jonique and Janair Grundy;   grandmother, Annie Pearl Jones;  a special great-aunt, Edith Glover; a special uncle, Curtis Hurse and a special cousin, Willis Glover; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward James Jones and Lee and Irene Grundy.
