Ernest Shields, 85, passed away on Feb. 15, 2018.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Slater Steel after 35 years of service.
Surviving are a special lady friend, Valeria Farley; daughters, Trophyce Gray and Carla Shields; brother, Seldum Shields; sister, Doris Cook, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Shields, a son, Ricky and a daughter, Tiffany Malone.
