FANNIE M. (RIDDLE) HUDSON, 93, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, at her home. She was born on June 10, 1924 in Orrville, Ala.

For many years, she worked as a healthcare giver with Catholic Social Services in Detroit, Mich., and as a Foster Grandparent with Early Childhood Alliance.

Surviving are her daughter, Louise Hudson (Thomas) Guy; two sisters, Ada Smith and Lina Riddle; brothers, Oscar (Betty), Levi (Thelma) and James (Lucille) Riddle; grandson, Damien Guy; great- grandchildren, Jonte and Nashay; goddaughter, Evang. Mary Burnett Woods, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Louise Riddle; husband, Matthew; sisters, Elizabeth James, Savannah Tayler and Viola Belefonte; and brothers, Major, Coleman, Arthur, Alfred, Willie, and Archie Riddle Jr. 

Mother Hudson will be laid to rest in Concordia Cemetery
