Evangelist Jacqueline C. Harris, aka Jackie, was born on March 10, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to Virginia and Nathaniel Burnett. She was the oldest of nine siblings. On Monday, November 18, 2019 she departed this life.
Jackie was most importantly a dedicated Evangelist, wonderful and loving Mother to her children and blessing to family and friends. She was highly educated with degrees and certificates in various fields, Dental Assisting, Cosmetology, Religious Education, and Teaching. She retired from teaching middle and high school students for East Allen County and Fort Wayne Community Schools in 2015.
By confessing and living a Christ-like life, Jackie departed with knowledge that she would be going to be with the Lord. She was a member of the House of God since 1991 and severed as an ordained Evangelist.
Jackie was preceded in death by her oldest son, Vincent Burnett; her father, Nathaniel Burnett; her mother: Virginia Burnett; two sisters Tanya Williams and Cynthia Burnett, and one brother, Nathaniel Burnett Jr.
She leaves to mourn and to cherish her memories to her sons, Sidney Harris, Arthur Harris Jr, Raeshone Harris, and Lashone Harris; daughters, Lolita Higginbotham, Lotita Starks, and Lonnettra Govan (Matt); brother, Terrance Burnett; brother-in-law, Michael Travick; sisters, Darlene Burnett, Sheryl Burnett, Rachel Burnett, and Terri Travick, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
