we announce the passing of

James A. Turner

better known as “Tennessee” passed from this life on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the age of 63 at his residence. James was born on October 23, 1955 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He enjoyed all sports, music and joking around with family and friends.  He also loved to dance and watch television.

He will be greatly missed by all but his memories will forever be with his sisters, Mamie Thompson, Linda Faye Turner and Elizabeth Beecham; brothers, Frederick, Joe and Randy Turner; an uncle, Joe Anderson and an aunt, Mary Alice Ophill; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Annie Elizabeth Turner, Sr., brothers, Lewis, Jessie Jr., and Robert Turner; and a niece, Stephanie Pickett.
