Judge William L. Briggs, 80, passed away March 28, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

As a native of Fort Wayne, he was a United States Air Force veteran.

He served as an Allen Superior Court Judge 15 years.  In 1999, he began serving as Senior Judge and retired in 2015.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 59 years, Blanchie Briggs; daughter, Stephanie Denise Briggs; granddaughter, Angela  C. Briggs; great granddaughter, Leana L. Briggs; sister, Barbara Ann Warner along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Judge Briggs will be laid to rest in Lindenwood Cemetery
