Lillie Bell (Clancey) Greene

Lillie B. Greene was 85 when she passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at home with family at her side. She was born September 16, 1932 in Marion, Alabama to the late George and Lula D (Jones) Clancey, Sr.

Lillie retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools after many years of service.  She loved to sing, read and visit those in the nursing care facilities.  She joined the Christ Temple Apostolic Church (Greater Christ Temple Apostolic Church) in 1964 under the leadership of the late Elder Henry Jones and served faithfully until her passing. 

Mother Greene leaves to forever hold many precious memories to her daughters, Glenda Armour, Gail Jordan, Chinita (Robert) Brown and; a son, Dirk W. (Gloria) Greene; her sister, Lula D. Craig; and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends

She was also preceded in death by her son, Henry Lance Greene, and other siblings.

She will be laid to rest in Concordia Cemetery Gardens
