Marcus A. Morrow Sr. was born May 11, 1982 to James T. Morrow and Janette Richardson in Perry County Hospital in Marion, Alabama. At the age of 46, on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he answered, "Yes Lord" when his name was called.
Marcus confessed his faith in Christ at an early age during his time in the Youth Ministry at Calvary Chapel of the guidance of Rev. Luther Whitfield.
Marcus graduated from Paul Harding High School in May 1991. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in July 1995.
His hobbies included: hunting, fishing, cooking and hosting small gatherings at his home. He loved watching his son play sports which included, basketball, football and track. He also loved watching his favorite college teams, Alabama Roll Tide football, North Carolina basketball and NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Leaving behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Camille Grant- Morrow; children, Keige-Alaire Lewis and Marcus A. Morrow II; parents, James and Janette Morrow; siblings, Derrick (Trina) Morrow Sr., Curtis (Kimberly) Morrow, Kevin (Annalise) Morrow and Dequawn Morrow; mother-in-law, Cornelius "Neet" Grant; father-in-law, Hardy Grant; sister-in-law, Carmen Molton; aunts, Joyce Rice, Elaine Jones, Dorcas Gaines, Polly Kyle, Emma Morrow and Annie Smith; uncle, Arnsey Richardson along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceding Marcus in death were his grandparents, James D. (Sarah) Richardson, Tommie and Mary Morrow; uncles, Jessie T. Richardson, Junior Lee Morrow, Elizah Morrow and Lenard Richardson; cousins, Sydney Rutlege. Terrence O'Neal Gaines, Towanda Richardson and JaMarkus Richardson.
Pastor Stephen Terry of New Life Church of God will be bring the message.
Marcus will be laid to rest in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
