Mary Deloris King

M ary was born to William King, Sr. and the late Ruby Louise King on May 6, 1954 in Fort Hood, Texas.  

At an early age she moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Mary was a graduate of Central High School. She was a compassionate worker for over 20 years at Fort Wayne State  Developmental Center and at Heritage Health Care as a CNA until her health began to fail her.  She really loved caring for people and baby sitting children.  “Mary took care of everyone.”

She leaves to cherish many fond memories to her daughter, Alanna King and granddaughter, Alayah Hayes; her father, William (Theola) King; her sister, Ruby Lanall King; and her brothers, Fred King, Edward King,  Kyle King, Lewis (Joy) King and William King, Jr. and  a host of  nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mary was also preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Marie King.

Mary departed this life on Sunday, July 1, 2018  at the age of 64 at the Parkview Hospital.

She is gone, resting in the arms of Jesus, but never forgotten.
