In Celebration of the Life of Parnell Shane Creech

Parnell Shane Creech was born February 10, 1967 to Susan J. Creech and A C Reese in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He departed this life peacefully at the age of 50 at his home on August 11, 2017 with his beloved wife Tonia Creech by his side. 

Parnell attended Wayne High School and Edinboro University in Pennsylvania.  He enjoyed playing basketball, football, reading, attending church, and listening to his gospel music.  He was an inspirational mentor to many children and was supporting and encouraging to friends and family. 

Most memorably though, is all of the joy and silliness he brought to his family and friends. He had a smile that would light up the room.

He was currently employed at REV Recreation Group in Decatur, Indiana.  He also was an entrepreneur, started small businesses, and managed rental properties.

He leaves to cherish in his memory, his loving wife, Tonia M. Creech;  nine  children, Diondra (Kamari) Patterson, Anthony (Dawn) Spencer, Parnell Williams, Austin Williams, Adrien Spencer, Arianna Preston, Keyanna Creech, Andrew Spencer, Monique Creech, and Miracle Woods; siblings, Darlene Moody, Glora Jean Thomas, Sarah Marie Creech, Charles Riley Creech, and Darren Reese; 16 grandchildren and a host of special aunts, other relatives, and dear friends.

Parnell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Catherine Bucher and Roscoe “Bud” Bucher and stepfather, James Thomas.
