Patricia Ann Jones

Patricia Ann (Goode) Jones was born on  January 7, 1954 in Norton, Virginia.  She was born to the late Mildred Evelyn Hale and later adopted and raised by her late grandparents,  Dock and Lucy (Baker) Goode.  On Friday, May 3, 2019, she made her transition from this earthly life.

She was previously employed by General Electric Company and Lincoln Life Insurance Company.  For over 20 years she was a Bar Maid between the VFW and The Elks.

On December 10, 1999, she married Douglas Jones Sr. who preceded her in death on January 27, 2019.

She was a longtime member of the Daughter of the Elks and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 8147 Women’s Auxiliary.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted daughter, Nina Nelson; beloved son, William Eric (Janelle) Goode; stepsons, Ernest (Tanyanika) Jones, and Douglas Jones Jr.; siblings, Allie Talley, Ronald Talley, Michael E. Hale, Priscilla Hurston, Marilyn Ballard; brother-in-law, Cleophus Jones Sr., 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and special friends.
