Robert Earl Wright was called to rest on December 21, 2018. He was born to the late Lorine (Wright) Clemons in Hernando, Mississippi (near Memphis, Tennessee), the oldest of eleven children.
Robert was a decent, stand-up, devout Christian with strong core values instilled in him by his maternal grandparents Bennie and Henretta Wright. He was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life and best friend, Maggie Ann (King) Wright on July 29, 1972. He was a God-fearing man and a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Robert worked as a General Laborer retiring from Indiana's Fort Wayne Foundry Corporation.
To hold precious memories of his life are his children, Jason (Melitta), Brent (Tamika), and Marcus Wright; grand-children; Jaesha Wright, Brent Wright Jr., and Logan Wright; great grandchild; Jaelen Rork; siblings, Ruby L. Brown, Ralph Clemons, James O. Clemons, Tommie L. (Blondie) Clemons Jr., Loretta Smith, Laverne C. Morgan, Betty J. Spearnock, Linda F. Clemons, and Stanley Clemons; father-in-law; Eugene King Sr.; sisters-in-law; Anita Winston, Darlene (Albert) King-Crutchfield, Carmen (Reginald) Moore, Shelia Young, Jackie Wimbley, and Tracey (Melvin) Woodgett; brothers-in-law; Eugene (Lenette) King, Jr., Keith (Carole) King, Roland King, Patrick King, and Chad King; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his lovely wife Maggie Ann Wright; mother, Lorine Clemons; brother, Randy Clemons; step-father, Tommie Clemons Sr.; maternal grandparents, Bennie and Henretta Wright; uncle, Hubert Morrison; mother-in-law, Ella Mae King; and sister-in-law, Norma King.
