Tituse Dewitt James, aka “Tidal” was born on September 13, 1981 to Charles D. Hall and Donita S. James. He departed this life on Monday, October 22, 2018.
Tituse was a very caring person that always had his own style, ideas and didn’t care what anyone had to say about him. “Tidal” as most called him was the only brother, cousin, nephew and uncle that would take trips all the time and would come back telling his many stories about his adventures.
Tidal, would walk everywhere he got a chance too. He was one walking machine, through snow, sleet, rain or hot days, it didn’t stop him! Tituse put several miles on hie feet. We often joked about him being “Forest Gump”. You would look up and Tituse would be knocking at your door. Many would say, “Tituse where are you coming from…LOL…He would say I was over my sister’s house and was bored and needed to get away to clear my mind. Tituse would be gone all day! Tituse loved to eat, listen to his music, smoke his cigarettes and most of all he loved to rap.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his father, Charles D. Hall; siblings, Tequila Q. James, Ramon D. James, Courtney D. Jones, Cantrell D. Jones, Shaheadia D. Jones all of Fort Wayne, IN and Lashaye N. Jones of Tampa, Florida; Grandmother, Mattie Hyde of Fort Wayne. Tituse has seven nephews and nine nieces along with one great nephew, Rodrick Jr. Tituse also has a host of aunts and uncles; a special niece, Senderriona Lapsley and a special auntie, Deborah Draughn.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donita S. James; sister, Keysha Z. James; grandfathers, David L. James Sr., and Charles D. Phillips; grandmothers, Earline S. James and Iva E. James; cousins, Kieta K. Lamb, Alex Chandler, Kiera D. Sanders and aunt, Louise Fisher.
