Warner Leon Williams Sr. was born on September 26, 1931 to Sylvia (Williams) Ganaway and Clayton Williams in Paulding, Ohio. He departed this life on Sunday, November 10, 2019.
Warner was an Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Navy and completed his rating as Airman Apprentice when was honorably discharged in 1954.
Warner was an avid bowler and participated in many leagues. Warner enjoyed John Wayne movies and has a recorded collection of the all except one. His favorite television show that he loved to watch was the Game Show Network, he always had the TV on channel 179.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his wife of 34 years, Maelean Williams; daughters, Patricia (Albert) Reese, Trina (Rickie) Anthony, Falanna L. Williams and Tamara Y. Williams; sons, Warner L. Williams, Jr., Trent Williams and Quinton E. Williams; a brother, Donald (Julie) Ganaway; sisters, Elizabeth Ganaway, Tara Ganaway and Bernetta Williams-Allen; 23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton Williams and Sylvia Ganaway; a daughter, Beverly A. Wilson; a brother, John Ganaway; and sisters, Sharon Allen and Annamae Ganaway-Nickens.
Warner will be laid to rest in Concordia Cemetery
