Aaron Lee Montgomery Sr. “A.J.”, age 53, was born June 7, 1968, in Fort Wayne, IN.  He was the son of the late Cassandra Montgomery-Hayes and Charles Wilson.  On Wednesday May 4, 2022, Aaron departed this life at Parkview Hospital surrounded by family.

Aaron graduated from Wayne High School of Fort Wayne, IN. Aaron completed cosmetologist school at Four Winds of Fort Wayne, IN. He enjoyed football, basketball, being around family, friends and being the center of attention. Anytime that you came across Aaron, he was guaranteed to give you a good laugh by cracking jokes and being that outgoing person that he was. Aaron enjoyed cutting hair and utilizing his mother and daughter as a mannequin head to practice his hair styles. Aaron enjoyed working in construction and utilizing his hands to help anybody.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Umekia Link and Tatyana Moore; two sons, Aaron Montgomery Jr. and Amarion Moore all of Fort Wayne, IN; three brothers, Argentry (Cathy) Montgomery, William Freeman, and Tracy Carter all of Fort Wayne, IN; two sisters, Teresa Carter and Tiphanie Shotwell both of Indianapolis, IN; two special friends, Diane Drake and LeeAnn Wood. Aaron has 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Cassandra Montgomery-Hayes; two sons, Dominik Files and Avant’a Montgomery and two nephews, Argentry Montgomery Jr., and Tristan Carter.
