Beverly Rochelle McLemore was born on September 14,1959 in Birmingham, AL to the union of Edward McLemore and Bertha Harmon McLemore. Beverly passed peacefully at Parkview Regional Medical Center on December 20, 2024.

Beverly confessed to Christ at an early age at Union Baptist Chruch in Fort Wayne, IN. She attended Hanna School, Ben Geyer Jr High School, and graduated from Wayne High School in 1977. Beverly attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.

Beverly worked various jobs including Verizon, Matilda Jane Clothing, and most recently Y-Care at Bunche Elementary School, where the kids and staff referred to her as “Ms. Bev.” Beverly was a party animal, loved to cook, and had a green thumb just like her mother. She also belonged to a Facebook plant club.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory her son, Justin McLemore of Anderson, IN; daughter, Naomi McLemore of Fort Wayne, IN; mother, Bertha McLemore of Fort Wayne, IN; brothers, Byron (Reneatia) McLemore of Fort Wayne, IN, Greg (Olga) McLemore of Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and James McLemore of Phoenix, AZ; sister, Dierdre McLemore of Fort Wayne, IN; grandson, Chandler; and four granddaughters, Rashelle, Kyla, Ivory, and Harmony, whom she loved very much. She also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward McLemore; stepfather, James Degraffrenreid; grandfathers Junius Harmon and Lee Arthur Williams; and grandmothers, Lunette Harmon and Bessie Williams.
