BOBBY L. BROWN SR., 88 years young, transitioned on Thursday Aug. 26, 2021, after a courageous battle with COVID-19 in Austin, Texas. Born in Trenton, Tenn., on Jan. 10, 1933, he was a son of Vernon Jr. and Ella Mae Brown. Bobby has been a resident of Fort Wayne since 1940. He attended Fort Wayne Central High School and retired from Ream Steckbeck Paint Company in 1990. Bobby married Molly White on March 3, 1951 and from this union created four sons and four daughters: Deborah, Bobby Jr., Brenda, Vernon, Gail, Gregory, Bonita, and Tim. He is also the cherished father of Deena Brooks, Jackie Howell, Tracy Weaver, and Andre Weaver. He leaves a lifetime of wonderful memories to a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, other family, and friends


Service is noon Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at Shiloh Baptist Church, with viewing starting at 10:30 a.m. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home, LLC. www.ellisfh.com
