Brenda Kay (Hamilton) Jones was 68 years young when she passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, June 4,
2026, while at home in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Brenda was born on March 27, 1958, the seventh child of twelve, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Elisha and Eular Mae Jones.
Brenda graduated from Snider High School in 1976. She loved her family more than anything!
She was a food critic, very thoughtful, giving, humorous and one of a kind.
Brenda leaves behind to honor and cherish her memory, two daughters, LaSahira M. Jones, of Flint, Michigan, Shaylen N. Jones, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a son, Nygel G. Jones of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two granddaughters, Jazzmyne J. J. Johnson of little Rock, Arkansas and Nevaeh T. D. Fitzgerald, of Little Rock, Arkansas; one grandson, John F. Kidd of Flint, Michigan; and two great granddaughters, I’Lani Sanai and Island Star of Little Rock, Arkansas. Brenda had five sisters: Ernestine Williams of
Indianapolis, Indiana, Eva Johnson, of Camden, Arkansas and Deloris Hollins of Camden, Arkansas, Cynthia (Diane Jones) Morris, of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Terena
Jones, of Little Rock, Arkansas; four brothers: Calvin Jones, (Beverly Kuykendal ) of Davie, Florida, Tony Jones, of Columbia, South Carolina, Jeffrey Jones, of LouAnn, Arkansas and Eric Jones of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Eular Mae Jones; a son, Courtney T. Caldwell; nephews, Johnny Newsome, and Adaryll Jones; and brothers, Ronnie and Donnie Jones.
