Brenda K. Hutchins was born October 26, 1957. She went on to Glory on August 2, 2021. 

 

She married the love of her life, Roosevelt Hutchins on December 24, 1979. She was a devoted member of Light of the World Christian Church in Fort Wayne, IN. 

 

Brenda held a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. She taught for 21 years at East Allen Schools. 

 

Preceding her in death are her mother and father, Cliff Jackson Sr. and Billie Jackson and a grandson, Jordan Q. Woods. 

 

She will be remembered by her husband of 42 years, Roosevelt Hutchins; children, Lauren M. (Justin) Fox, and Erin D. (Sean) Woods.  Siblings, Cliff Jackson, Jr., Carla G. Miner Busch, and Emma F. (Marvin) Davis, one grandchild, Michael Q. Woods, and a host of precious relatives and friends.

Pastor Cornelius Hill Jr. will be the eulogist.

Brenda will be laid to rest in Lindenwood Cemetery.
