Carolyn Vanessa Nelson

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their loved one Carolyn Vanessa Nelson. She is survived by her son, Carmell Nelson, her daughter, LaToya Nelson, her brothers, Robert Nelson and Johnnie Nelson, and her sister, Willie Mae Nelson. She has been preceded in death by her parents, Robert Powell Sr. and Daisy Lee Nelson and her sister, Mary Jane Brown.  

A funeral service will be held Friday, September 29th, 2023 at 11:00am.  There will be a viewing from 9:00am - 11:00am.  Services will be at Kingdom Door Christian Worship Center at 1004 East Pontiac St., Ft. Wayne, IN.  

Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery.
