Catherine Lee

On Wednesday, July 19, 2023,  Ms. Catherine Lee transitioned to be with the angels. Ms. Lee was born in Leland, Mississippi and lived in Fort Wayne, IN.  Ms. Lee leaves behind her son, Elton Lee Sr.; her daughter, Latoya Lee; her brothers, Ernest Slater Jr., Johnnie Slater, Quincy Slater, Noah Slater, Charles Slater, Daniel Slater, Melvin Slater and Abraham Slater; and her sisters, Essie McCoy, Qiana Slater, Eileen Slater-Hinton and Minni Slater.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Slater Sr. and Ida Lee Slater ; and her siblings Robert Slater, Mary Slater and Dorothy Slater.  

The family will have a memorial service for Catherine Lee on Friday, August 25th at 1:00pm at the Ypsilanti Masonic Temple at 5752 Whitaker Rd., Ypsilanti, MI 48197
