Colonial “Rail” Evans

Colonial “Rail” Evans, age 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Lutheran Life Villages.

He was born February 28, 1949 and a 1967 graduate of South Side High School.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Lincoln Food Service after 25 years of service.

He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Anita Porter-Evans; daughters, Cheron Evans (Abdul) Shabazz and Nikki Hill (James Briscoe); stepchildren, Mia Kelsaw and Kevon Porter; sisters, Marva Allen and Tonya Dawson; a special brother-in-law, Reggie Allen; aunt, Roberta Evans; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
