Damontre Tyshon Burnett (“Money”) was born on November 30, 2000 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He was born to Annette Burnett and raised by Carla Burnett.   He was the youngest of nine siblings.  

Damontre was the life of the party.  He lived his life without any regrets.  He enjoyed football and rapping and he adored his family, especially spending time with them.  Most of all he loved his nieces and nephews. He was a rider, loyal beyond measure – a soul that will be missed for generations to come.   

Damontre sadly parted from us on June 19, 2025. Yet, his infectious spirit remains alive in our hearts.  He leaves behind cherished memories with his siblings: Shadricka Solares, Shardae Burnett, Lakeesha Burnett, Cedric Hannah, Dayshia Burnett, Marquise Burnett,  Lamar Burnett, Cedreco Hannah, and Demario Burnett.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his cousins, his uncle, Demetrice Burnett, and his Aunt, Brenda Burnett.   

Although our hearts are heavy, we are here to celebrate the life of Damontre and to say our final goodbyes – until it’s time to meet again.  We move forward with life and grief, knowing that he now lives on, within us.
