Daniel Lamar Preston Sr. Was born February 28,1992 in Fort Wayne IN, to the late Bret Montgomery and Debra Preston.  He accepted Christ at the age of 7, God called Daniel home on May 31,2025 at the age of 33.  Daniel was employed at Endless Abilities where he worked as a DSP. Daniel always had a smile on his face. He was a "jack of all trades". He enjoyed cooking, fishing and having a good time with family and friends. If you knew Daniel, you know he loved joking and talking mess. Most of all he LOVED being a father to his son. Daniel leaves to cherish his memory his fiancé, Elizabeth Knowles-LeShore; son, Daniel Preston Jr.; brother, Joseph (Khalia) Preston; sisters, Markeshia Jones and Leandrea (Kendall) Boone; his “cousin like brother”, Gregory Preston Jr.; and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Bret Montgomery; his grandparents, Rosie Preston, Greene Horton, Lure and Margie Montgomery; aunts, Dorthy Myatt, Constance Preston, Thelma Preston, Jeraldean Shears, Margaret Montgomery; and his uncles, Ray Preston, Steve Montgomery, and Leroy Montgomery.
