Delores Noonie Looper was born on January 29, 1943, to the late William and Anna Jane (Kirtz) Cecil in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She departed this life on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Parkview Regional Hospital.

Delores went to Central High School. She worked at State School and Burnell Group. She was a member of Eliza Street Church of God in Fort Wayne, IN; Church of God on North 24m Street in Omaha, NB; and formally a member of New Life Church of God, in Fort Wayne, IN. She was a piano player for all three churches and a member of their choirs and Joy Saints.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph Andrew Looper; son, Joseph Franklin "Joey" Looper; three brothers, Paul, Bobby and Will Cecil; two sisters, Amanda and Catherine Cecil.

Delores leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters: Helen Looper-Coleman and Patrice "Treecy" Looper, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 12 grandchildren: Isaaca Sanders, Joseph "Joe-Joe" (Morenike) Looper jr., Saimone (Travis) Harter, Iesha Looper, Alexus (Cody) Murrain, Darius Coleman, Terryonna Coleman, Savannah Coleman, Jermaine Reese, Jasmine Reese, Jaylin Reese and Jayla Reese; 17 great grandchildren; two sisters: Avel Cecil of Deltona, Florida and Marie Cecil of Fort Wayne, Indiana; one brother: Daniel Dan (Barbara) Cecil of Saginaw, Michigan; one niece: Pamela Glaspie (Terry) O'Neal of Deltona, Florida; two nephews: David Cecil of Saginaw, Michigan and Adrian Cecil of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a host of great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.
