Doris was born to Frances R. Fortune in Fort Wayne, Indiana on March 10 1937.
Doris was a loving and kind woman to the people who knew her the best. She lived a full life surrounded by people that loved and cherished her. She enjoyed reading, traveling with family and friends, going to Bingo, watching sports and the stories.
She is survived by her brother, William (Brandy) Fortune, grandchildren, Devlon Chambers, Crystal Davis, Alvin Jones, Edrinne Coleman, Cartrell Coleman, Roman Coleman and Adrian Coleman and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family.
