Dr. Verna May (Shoecraft) Adams

Verna May Shoecraft Adams, Ed.D 96,  passed away at her home in Fort Wayne, IN on Sunday, February 16, 2025.  She retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools as a Director of Supplemental Instructional Programs after being a teacher, principal, and administrator of Title One Programs.  Dr. Adams was that unforgettable teacher who made a difference, leaving a lasting impact on many lives. She was married to the late Fred Adams, Sr. and is the mother of Jacqueline Adams Redd, Fred Adams, Jr., Douglas Adams and Cynthia Adams McBride.
