Emory Demetrius Stover was born on July 19, 1954, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. He peacefully departed this life on April 26, 2024, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Emory Stover, a proud graduate of John Hay High School in Cleveland, Ohio, joined the army after graduating high school, dedicating himself to serving his country. His unwavering loyalty to his nation and his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, defined him both on and off the battlefield. Emory's passion for the Steelers knew no bounds, as he stood by the team through every season's highs and lows. Emory is preceded in death by his mother, Dolly Stover; father, Edgar Cofield; and his brothers, Leonard Stover and James Stover Sr. He is survived by his loving sister, Saundra Wyley of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his devoted companion Michele Emrich of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his best friend Norman Gerardot of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and numerous nieces and nephews. Emory's dedication, loyalty, and unwavering spirit will be forever cherished by his family and friends.
