Ernest Rencher, 84, was born on March 29,1939 to Lincoln Rencher and Irean Haywood in Uniontown, Alabama.
Ernest grew up in Uniontown, Alabama. He attended Perry County Training School. He moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1959.
Ernest held several jobs before he settled on his dream job as a truck driver, from which he retired from.
Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln and Irean Rencher. His grandparents, John and Lou Washington, who raised him, and Lincoln and Melinda Rencher. His siblings, Mose Rencher and William “Billy” White.
Ernest was united in holy matrimony to Norma Warfield and to this union was born four children, whom he leaves to cherish his memory; Jackquelyn Renee Rencher, Ernest (Monique) Rencher, Donald (Ruth) Rencher and Jeffery Rencher. 6 grandchildren and siblings; John (Marilyn) Rencher, Willie “Billie” (Nathan) Alexander, Rod (Evelyn) Brooks, Karla “Cookie” “Coot” Brooks. And 3 aunts; Theornia “Tony” Williams, Milinda “Duck” Jackson, Ellen Murray, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
