Frank Daren McGraw AKA “Frank Nitty”was born on February 14, 1968 in Pell City, Alabama to Margaret McGraw and Frank McGowan. As an infant, Frank relocated to Fort Wayne, Indiana with his late grandmother.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Faith Missionary Baptist Church by the late Pastor James Fincher. Frank attended various schools as a child and obtained his GED as an adult. Frank had a special love for cooking. He continued his higher education and received an Associate of Science degree and Culinary Arts.
Frank departed this life on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his mother Margaret McGraw of Anderson, Indiana; father, Frank McGowan of Pell City, Alabama; sisters, Kimberly McGraw of Nashville, TN, Louis Mitchell (EJ), Tina McGowan, Jasmine McGowan, Nicole McGowan of Pell City, AL; brothers, Frank McGowan Jr. (Valorie) of Georgia, Marvin McGraw, Jerome McGraw of Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Frank Dinius, Isaiah McGraw of Fort Wayne, IN; daughters, Selena McGraw, Jasmyn Cicora, Skylar McGraw, Suraya McGraw, Sabria McGraw, Isha McGraw, and Ilena Wheeler; his special someone, Tina Ortega of Fort Wayne, IN, 14 grandchildren all of Fort Wayne, IN, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Frank was preceded in death by all of his grandparents, Sally and William McGraw and Jay and Lucille McGowan; sisters, Chris and Niecy McGowan; nephew, Contrail McGraw; uncles, Delbert McGraw, Oliver McGraw, Richard McGraw, and Willie McGraw; aunts, Odessa McGraw, Grace McGraw, and Zola McGraw.
