Gary Leroy Kendrick, 74, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on September 30th, 2025.  He long battled illness and was at home surrounded by family.  He was born October 9th, 1950 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Ralph Kendrick and Betty Kendrick (McDonald).
 

He married Lynn M. Kendrick (Barcus) on August 29th, 1971 in Pasadena, California at the Chapel of Roses.
 

Gary was a machinist for over twenty years. He went to Chaffey Community College in the early 1980s where he got a degree in computer science.  Years later he started his own private family business where he worked as a consultant for schools and libraries.  He retired in 2015 but still kept active with consulting.

He is survived by one sister, Karen Helm; two brothers, Jay Kendrick and John Kendrick; his wife, Lynn Kendrick; one son, Kyle Kendrick; one daughter, Kelly Smith (and her husband Scott Smith); three grandsons, Joel Smith (and his wife Olivia Smith), Cole Smith, and Xander Smith; one great granddaughter, Delilah Smith; one great grandson, Archer Smith.

Gary was cremated by Ellis Funeral Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  His ashes were given to his wife Lynn Kendrick.  May he Rest In Peace.
