Geneva (Ellis) Richards

A TIME TO BE BORN: Geneva Ellis Richards, 91 years old, was born June 4, 1931 to the late Arthur and Mable Ellis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

A TIME TO SERVE: Geneva accepted the Lord and Savior at young age and was a life-long member of Union Baptist Church. She was faithful in her attendance and always willing to serve on the Hospitality Committee.

A TIME TO WORK: Geneva worked most of her adult life at Magnavox and General Electric.

A TIME TO BLESS: She was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother. She was always willing to help whenever and however needed. She was a sister, aunt and friend to many.

A TIME TO PLAY:  She was a quiet spirit who loved her three C’s: McDonald's Cheeseburgers, Cereral, and Chocolate Cake.

A TIME TO DIE: She will be remembered as a loving wife of Chester Richards, deceased; mother of Scharlyn Williams and Marcia Simmons, deceased; sister to Etta Jennings, Margaret Smith and Pallas Dyer, all deceased; grandmother to Sherwin Williams and Lawrence Simmons; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
