Georgia Mae Richardson was born on April 12, 1930 in Harlan, Kentucky to George Miller and Lilla Mae Averett. She departed this life on March 1, 2018.
In 1935, she moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana. Georgia was a strong devoted wife and mother to her family. She was also a devoted mother figure to numerous neighborhood children. She enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, bingo and spending time with family and friends.
Georgia spent some of her time as a homemaker and retired from Mechanic Laundry after numerous years of service.
She leaves to cherish her memory, six children, Jojuana Oldham, Marion Blackburn, Alice Wims-Lee (Glen), Johnny Richardson (Mary), Anthony Richardson (Vervia) and Allen Richardson (Mesha), 29 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, 49 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceeded her in death by her parents, George Miller and Lilla Mae Averett; her brother, Julius Avery and a son, Robert Phoenix.
