APOSTLE GERALD R. BABBITT, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the VA Medical Center-Fort Wayne.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Babbitt; children, Quincy, Gerald Keith, Tonia, Gerald Jr., Shawn and Shamyra Babbitt, and Swahili Allen; brothers, Robert (Jermaine deceased), James (Carrie) and John (Murrell) Babbitt; along with several grandchildren, great grands, other family members and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be held at 12 noon Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, with walk through viewing one hour prior. Walk through viewing also from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021, at Ellis Funeral Home.
He will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery.
