Helen M. Jackson also known as “Prance”. She was born in Little Rock, AR but raised in Fort Wayne, IN. Helen, aka Prance Jackson attended Central High School and loved to cook and celebrate with family.
She accepted Christ in her younger years while on this side she worked many years at State School Hospital. She then did what she loved as a head cook at Momma's Place. She cooked even out of her home for many people. She enjoyed having company and listening to the blues.
She was one of those auntie's and friend that you could tell anything.
Prance was preceded in death by her father Roosevelt
Moore and mother Helen Murphy.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, James Jackson (Tonya), Carol Jackson, Tyrell Jackson (Zena), Tamyra Jackson; sisters, Cedell Moore, Rudy J. Lamb, Monique Moore, and Krista Freeman; brothers, Codie Vell Moore and Marvell Moore Sr. (Mary); special friend, Pernell Hopkins and host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
At 10:51 p.m. she gave up the fight on this side, but her spirit soared into the heavens, and she said to all “I’ll
Holla.”
