Jalen Vaughn Caldwell was born May 5, 1996 in Mishawaka, IN to Allen C. and Marcy D. (Graham) Caldwell. Jalen departed this life and begun his transition into the presence of the Lord on May, 17, 2022.
He attended Sandcreek Intermediate Grade School and later graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, IN where he loved and participated in show choir.
He was employed with Simon's Mall as a Informational Manager and was also an avid sport commentator. Jalen devoted his time to online gaming, watching his pre-recorded basketball games, and had a love for The Flash, and Green Arrow.
Jalen was always a happy go lucky kid.
Whenever he recognized something was off, he inspired those involved to be happy because everything would work out fine. He always approached life with a kind and warm heart, never complained, always had a positive attitude that lit up the room. Even when he was in pain, he could turn that pain into champagne.
Jalen leaves to cherish his memory: his loving father and mother, Allen C. Caldwell of Fishers, IN and Marcy D. Graham of New Haven, IN; his brothers, Anthony Goheen of Nashville, TN, Allen C. Caldwell Jr. of Fishers, IN, Cameron Caldwell of Fishers, IN, Milan Graham and Gregory Starks both of Fort Wayne; his grandmother, Geneva Caldwell of Columbia City, IN; grandfather, Marcellus Graham of Coldwater, MS; aunts, Kaprice (Adrias) Barnett of Fort Wayne, IN, Nicki (Michael) Venable of Columbia City, IN, Denise Graham of Madison, AL; great aunt, Martha Hatch, of Fort Wayne, IN; uncles, Curry (Jennifer) Caldwell of Columbus, OH and Paul (Nina) Caldwell Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN.
Jalen was preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha White, grandfather, Paul S. Caldwell, great-grandmother, DeFrancis Hatch, great-grandfather, Henry Hatch, and sister, Marcie Graham.
He will be truly loved and missed by family and friends.
