James Collins was born March 3, 1958 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Johnnie and Pearline Collins. He departed this earthly life on October 2, 2020.
James attended Northrop High School and later joined the army reserve, He then became a Karate Instructor at the YMCA . He was baptized in Jesus Name at Bible Way Apostolic Church by Pastor Daniel Phifer . James loved the Lord and dedicated his life to ministering and helping others,
James was very transparent and used his own life struggles as his testimonies in helping others overcome their battles. James loved fishing and his family. He also enjoyed pranking people and was the life of the party.
James leaves to cherish his memory to three daughters, Lydranekia Foster, Jada Collins, Ebony Williams, three sons, Jeremy Foster, James Anderson, Martinez Nikalanko; three sisters, Lydia (Robert) Kizer, Dorothy (Jesse) Morris, Rosie Lacey; one brother, Johnnie Collins; special sister in-law, Allie B. Collins, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and a dearest friend,Yvonne Smith and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Pearline Collins; sister, Sheila Collins; brothers, Jeffrey , Floyd,and Jesse Collins; grandmother, Irene Beverly; children, Jermaine Foster and Towanda Ellis, and grandson Darshawn Lot.
